Vine Cottage is located just off the square of the pretty little village of Hlomotiana in the southern part of Corfu, just 40 minutes from Corfu town and the airport. With the beachside resort of Messonghi-Moraitika just 5 minutes away with supermarkets, beach bars, tavernas, etc. and the glorious wildlife protected area of Lake Korrision with its 12 miles of sandy beaches just 10 minutes away it is ideally situated.

The village itself has a picturesque square with a local shop/coffee shop, a playground, a brand new restaurant open all year round and pleasant community spirit.

Originally built in 1807, it has been restored in 2008. The cottage is accessed via a stairway to the first floor. The front door opens into the open plan lounge and kitchen with cathedral roof giving the cottage a lovely spacious and airy feeling. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge and washing machine. There is also an air-conditioning unit. There are French windows in the lounge area opening up onto the balcony, which has ample space for table and chairs and is a positive suntrap. There is a staircase leading downstairs, where there is a main bedroom and A small second bedroom both of which have tiled floors. There is also a fully tiled shower room. The cottage is double glazed throughout and three wall-mounted radiators are included in the price.
